“Old Friends, New Adventure.”

A band of stray dogs called the Singin' Strays pulls Copper away from his best friend Tod at a country fair, with Dixie (Reba McEntire) and Cash (Patrick Swayze) out front. A talent scout is visiting, so the band has to be good, and the hound puppy wants in. Jim Kammerud sets this in the boys' youth, before the first film's later half, and the fox and the hound are friends who now have to share a crowd.
