The Free Will

After nine years in psychiatric detention, Theo (Jürgen Vogel) is released into a supervised community, having assaulted and raped three women. He gets along with his social worker Sascha (André Hennicke), takes a job at a print shop, and starts seeing Nettie (Sabine Timoteo), the estranged daughter of his boss. Matthias Glasner stays close on Vogel's face and body, so the rage he is holding in is never far from the surface.
