The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun
An American newspaper's French bureau publishes its final edition with three stories from Ennui-sur-Blasé. A painter (Benicio del Toro) falls for a radical activist (Léa Seydoux); a food critic (Frances McDormand) chases a murder plot. What binds these dispatches is the newsroom itself, a place where strangers became witnesses to each other's lives, and where the act of telling the story was always what mattered most.
