The French Minister
Arthur Vlaminck (Raphaël Personnaz) is hired to write speeches for Alexandre Taillard de Vorms (Thierry Lhermitte), France's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and finds a boss who storms the world stage on legitimacy, lucidity and efficacy. Bertrand Tavernier, adapting the comic strip Quai d'Orsay, sets him loose among the ministry's schemers as France's stance on the 2003 Iraq invasion takes shape. Through it all the minister keeps his silver mane and his tan.
