The Garden of Words

On rainy mornings in a Japanese-style garden, Takao Akizuki (Miyu Irino) skips school to sketch shoes, since he is training to become a shoemaker. Yukari Yukino (Kana Hanazawa), a woman older than him, is there too, and they begin meeting again and again, only when it rains. Makoto Shinkai follows them toward the end of the rainy season, with Takao opening up a little more each time.
