The Gay Deceivers

“Is he? Or isn't he?”

Danny Devlin (Kevin Coughlin) is a young man in 1969 who would rather be almost anywhere than in the army. He and his friend Elliot Crane (Lawrence P. Casey) decide to claim they are gay, and when the recruiting officer doesn't buy it, they have to start acting the part. Bruce Kessler follows the two as the lie has to be kept up in front of everyone, and if it slips, the draft is waiting.
