The Gazebo

(1959)Directed by George Marshall100 minComedy, Crime
“All the love, laughs and murderous fun of the Broadway smash hit!”

Elliott Nash (Glenn Ford), a television writer, buries a blackmailer under the new gazebo in his suburban backyard and hopes that's the end of it. Instead he lies awake, jumpy at every neighbor's knock, certain the lawn will give him away. George Marshall plays the whole mess as a stage farce in CinemaScope, with Elliott's wife Nell (Debbie Reynolds) caught in the middle of what he'll admit to her and what he won't.
