The General's Daughter

“Go behind the lies.”

Paul Brenner (John Travolta) is an Army criminal investigator who works undercover, and he is handed a murder on a Georgia military base. The dead woman is Captain Elisabeth Campbell, the daughter of a general, and he is paired with Sarah Sunhill (Madeleine Stowe), a fellow warrant officer with her own history on the case. Simon West keeps the two of them circling each other across the base, an old closeness between them pulling against the work.
