The Geographer Drank His Globe Away

Viktor Sluzhkin (Konstantin Khabensky) wants out of the dull, stalled life he has in provincial Perm, and he takes a job teaching geography at a secondary school, drinking hard vodka to get through it. Aleksandr Veledinsky follows him from the classroom to a rafting trip in the Urals, with a pack of restless teenagers beside him. The students dub him the Geographer, and he falls hard for Nadya (Elena Lyadova), a girl in his class.
