The Ghost Writer

“Read between the lies.”

A ghostwriter known only as the Ghost (Ewan McGregor) takes over a former prime minister's memoirs after the first writer drowns in what is called an accident. He is sent to a remote island, where Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan) is holed up with his wife Ruth (Olivia Williams) and a manuscript that needs fixing. Polanski sets the story there, the Ghost alone in the big house with the unfinished pages.
