The Giants

“Freedom is the greatest adventure”

Zak (Zacharie Chasseriaud), 13 and three-quarters, and his older brother Seth (Martin Nissen) are stuck in their late grandfather's house for the summer, short on cash and waiting for a mother who doesn't come. They decide to rent the place to a local drug dealer, a plan that is already shakier than the boys admit. Bouli Lanners shoots the Ardennes in the haze of summer and keeps the camera low, at the boys' height.
