The Gift

“The only witness to the crime was not even there.”

Annie Wilson (Cate Blanchett), a young widow raising three boys, pays the bills by telling her neighbors what is coming for them, and she wants her own future to settle into a shape she can read. Then a client's violent husband (Keanu Reeves) starts threatening her, and visions of a missing local woman won't leave her alone. Sam Raimi keeps the camera close on Annie, a woman who sees everything and is still afraid.
