The Girl Can't Help It
“BABY, IT'S THE GREATEST!”
Tom Miller (Tom Ewell) is a talent agent on a long losing streak, spending his days drinking and avoiding his own phone. Then gangster Marty "Fats" Murdock (Edmond O'Brien) gives him six weeks to turn his girlfriend Jerri Jordan (Jayne Mansfield) into a recording star. Frank Tashlin shoots it in saturated DeLuxe Color, and the more time Tom spends coaching Jerri, the harder it is for him to keep his distance.
