The Girl from Nowhere

Michel Deviliers (Jean-Claude Brisseau) is a retired math teacher who has lived alone since his wife died, filling his days writing an essay on the beliefs that shape everyday life. When Dora (Virginie Legeay), a young homeless woman, turns up injured at his door, he takes her in until she heals. Brisseau, who also wrote the film, builds it around what we believe and how little it takes for the apartment to stop obeying those beliefs.
