The Girl in the Book

“She's ready to reclaim her story.”

Alice Harvey's past keeps pushing into her present, and the young writer's life starts to come apart around it. Alice (Emily VanCamp) is working in publishing when she is pulled back toward Milan Daneker (Michael Nyqvist), a man tied to the girl she used to be (Ana Mulvoy-Ten). Marya Cohn, in her first film as director, keeps them in the same frame, the older man and the woman who cannot get free of him.
