The Girl in the Café

Nobody at the Treasury knows much about Lawrence (Bill Nighy), a lonely civil servant, or why he has asked a stranger to share his table in a crowded café. She is Gina (Kelly Macdonald), a young woman who says little about herself, and soon he is taking her to the G8 Summit in Reykjavik. David Yates watches Lawrence stand between his duties and her, and the man has plainly never wanted anything this much.
