The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Makoto Konno (Riisa Naka) is a seventeen-year-old who spends her days playing catch with her friends Chiaki (Takuya Ishida) and Kousuke (Mitsutaka Itakura), until she discovers she can leap backwards through time. She uses it to fix her grades and dodge small embarrassments, and she is pleased with herself. Mamoru Hosoda keeps the focus on Makoto and her friends, the three of them tossing a ball back and forth.
