The Girl with the Hat Box

Natasha (Anna Sten) works in a Moscow hat shop for Madame Irène (Serafima Birman), delivering her hats through the city in a big round box. One day she meets Ilya Snegiryov (Ivan Koval-Samborskiy), a penniless young man just in from the countryside to start university, and takes pity on him. Boris Barnet lets the comedy tumble through the Moscow streets, and between Natasha and Ilya a kindness starts turning into affection.
