The Go-Getter

“Life doesn't come with a roadmap.”

Mercer (Lou Taylor Pucci) is nineteen and just buried his mother when he takes a stranger's car and heads off across the American roadside to find the older brother he hasn't seen in years. Martin Hynes puts him on the phone with the car's owner, Kate (Zooey Deschanel), who answers each time he calls and gets to know him from a distance. Mercer is driving toward one conversation, the news he has to deliver in person.
