The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick

Josef Bloch (Arthur Brauss), a goalkeeper, is sent off the pitch for a foul during an away game, and his sense of where he is slips away. He walks the city streets with no direction and spends the night with a woman who sells tickets at a movie theatre. Wim Wenders follows him from there, and with every aimless hour Bloch has less to hold onto, while the people near him have more to lose.
