The Goat Horn

In seventeenth-century Bulgaria, under Ottoman rule, four men break into the shepherd Karaivan's (Anton Gorchev) house and kill his wife while their small daughter Maria watches. Metodi Andonov follows him as he raises the girl as a son, teaching her to fight and kill so she can help him take revenge. Maria (Katya Paskaleva) grows up carrying that training, and wants a different life.
