(1980)Directed by Jamie Uys109 min · PGAction, Comedy
“The critics are raving... the natives are restless... and the laughter is non-stop!”

A Coca-Cola bottle drops from an airplane into the Kalahari and lands among a tribe of bushmen who take it for a gift from their gods. Xi (N!xau) sets off across the desert to carry it to the edge of the world. Jamie Uys sends him toward the biologist Andrew Steyn (Marius Weyers) and the new village schoolteacher Kate Thompson (Sandra Prinsloo), two people who find each other awkward from the start.
