The Golden Fortress

(1974)Directed by Satyajit Ray135 minMystery

Feluda (Soumitra Chatterjee) is a private investigator in Calcutta who takes a case that sounds like a child's game. A young boy, Mukul, keeps talking about a past life, a golden fortress, and the jewels hidden inside it, and crooks have started following him. Feluda sets out with his cousin Tapesh (Siddhartha Chatterjee) and the thriller writer Jotayu (Santosh Dutta), and Satyajit Ray films the road with a dry, easy humor.
