The Golden Glove

Hamburg, early 1970s. Fritz Honka (Jonas Dassler) drinks most nights at the Golden Glove, a pub in the red-light district where the regulars are lonely and broke, and he picks his company from among them. Fatih Akin adapts Heinz Strunk's novel about the four women who disappeared and whose remains stayed hidden in Honka's apartment. Dassler sits at the bar in his thick glasses and disfigured face, a drink in front of him, waiting for someone to talk to him.
