The Good Son

“Evil has many faces.”

Mark Evans (Elijah Wood), ten years old and newly motherless, just wants somewhere to put himself while his father is away on business. He is sent to stay with his aunt and uncle, and his cousin Henry (Macaulay Culkin), the same age, takes him in as a friend. Joseph Ruben lets the family's ordinary routines carry the unease, because Henry's behavior grows stranger while the adults see only a polite, well-raised boy.
