A group of kids in the Goon Docks neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon face losing their homes to foreclosure. Mikey (Sean Astin), Brand (Josh Brolin), Chunk (Jeff Cohen), and Mouth (Corey Feldman) discover an old treasure map and set out to find the pirate's fortune that could save their families. Richard Donner sends them tumbling through booby-trapped caves and past criminals, their bicycle wheels spinning fast against the coming dark.
