The Gospel of John

(2003)Directed by Philip Saville180 min · PG-13Drama
“For God loved the world So much…”

Jesus (Henry Ian Cusick) wants the people of Galilee and Judea to see who he is, and he says it plainly, in his own words. Director Philip Saville builds the film on the Good News Bible text, spoken exactly as written, with Christopher Plummer reading the narration between scenes. Stuart Bunce plays John, who watches and follows him, and every word Jesus speaks is one the Gospel recorded.
