The Grand

“A comedy about the fine art of losing.”

Six players have made the final table of the Grand Championship of Poker, the second most famous high-stakes tournament in the world. Among them are One Eyed Jack Faro (Woody Harrelson), The German (Werner Herzog), and L.B.J. Deuce Fairbanks (Dennis Farina). Zak Penn, working in the improvised style of Best in Show, has real Las Vegas poker players sitting at the same table, and each of the six has the title in reach.
