The Great Hypnotist

Xu Ruining (Xu Zheng), a celebrated psychologist with a growing reputation, takes on a patient who will not make it easy. Ren Xiaoyan (Karen Mok Man-wai) looks frail, but she contradicts him at every step, and each session turns into a contest over whose version of events holds. Leste Chen keeps the two of them in close quarters, and Xu begins to wonder how much of his own certainty is real.
