The Great Mouse Detective

(1986)Directed by Burny Mattinson, John Musker, David Michener74 min · GAnimation, Family, Mystery, Crime, Adventure
“London's crime-fighting ace on his most baffling case!”

Professor Ratigan (Vincent Price) kidnaps London's master toymaker, and a small girl named Olivia Flaversham (Susanne Pollatschek) goes looking for the one detective who might find him. That is Basil of Baker Street (Barrie Ingham), a mouse who works in disguise and brings along his companion, Dr. Dawson. Ron Clements and Burny Mattinson set a clever hero against a villain who enjoys the game, and the film is about the nerve it takes to stay calm.
