The Greatest

Rose (Carey Mulligan) is a teenager with no family of her own, and after a car crash kills her boyfriend Bennett, she learns she is pregnant. She turns up at the Brewer house, where Allen (Pierce Brosnan), Grace (Susan Sarandon) and younger son Ryan are each grieving in separate rooms. Shana Feste's debut keeps the family in the same house, and Rose stays, needing them as much as they need her.
