The Greatest Beer Run Ever

“Friendship has no last call.”

Chickie Donohue (Zac Efron) decides to carry cans of American beer to his friends fighting in Vietnam, and he intends to hand them over in person. It is a true story, drawn from the book by Donohue and Joanna Molloy, with Russell Crowe as Arthur Coates. Peter Farrelly plays it for laughs at first, then lets the comedy thin out as the war comes into view.
