The Greatest Showman

“The impossible comes true.”

P. T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman) is a man with big ideas and not much else, and he sets out to build a show nobody in New York has seen before. Michael Gracey stages it as a musical, with Zac Efron and Zendaya among the performers who join him, and nine original songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul carry the story. Underneath the spectacle is a plain question of who gets to stand in the spotlight and who gets pushed out of it.
