“Breaking the Law to Protect It.”

In Los Angeles, Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) inherits the city's biggest newspaper fortune when his father dies, and he has never done much with his days. He meets Kato (Jay Chou), a resourceful employee of the company, and the two take up costumes to go after Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz), the most powerful criminal in town. Michel Gondry films the fights at a quick, crowded pace, with Kato in the middle of them.
