“Fear will eat you alive.”

A group of student activists fly from New York City into the Amazon to stop the destruction of the rainforest. Justine (Lorenza Izzo) joins them, and Alejandro (Ariel Levy) leads the way, while Kaycee (Sky Ferreira) and Stoner (Daryl Sabara) come along for the trip. They soon learn they are not alone in all that green. Eli Roth, who wrote it with Guillermo Amoedo, shoots the jungle as a wall of green that closes in on them from every direction.
