“What was once trapped will now be unleashed.”

Karen Davis (Sarah Michelle Gellar) has disappeared in Tokyo, and nobody can say where she went. Her younger sister Aubrey (Amber Tamblyn) flies out to find her, with Eason (Edison Chen) helping. Takashi Shimizu has the curse spread past one house, into a Chicago apartment building, and the more Aubrey learns about it, the less time she has.
