The Guardians

Nina (Luna Schweiger), fifteen and an orphan, sees a crime she was never meant to see, and the businessman behind it sends five killers to make sure she never talks. Max Fischer (Til Schweiger), a former special-forces soldier assigned to protect her, has to keep her alive while the hunters close in, with help from an old comrade, Rudi (Moritz Bleibtreu). Two people who trust no one start out wary of each other, and each ends up as the only guardian the other has.
