The Guitar Mongoloid
A young guitarist (Erik Rutström), twelve years old, plays crude punk songs of his own making in a Swedish city called Jöteborg, which looks a lot like Gothenburg. His story sits among others: grown men playing with guns, and a neurotic woman (Britt-Marie Andersson) whose cheerfulness has a way of turning on her. Östlund cast mostly non-actors who more or less play themselves, and he lets their awkward everyday behavior carry the film.
