The Happening

“We've sensed it. We've seen the signs. Now...it's happening.”

Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg), a high school science teacher, flees Philadelphia with his wife Alma (Zooey Deschanel) when a mysterious event begins causing people to kill themselves. He doesn't know what's happening, only that it's spreading and that staying still means death. Elliot stands alone in a field where the wind moves through the trees and nothing answers back.
