The Happiest Millionaire

“It's the happiest musical of the year!”

Why would a Philadelphia millionaire keep alligators as pets and teach boxing at his daily Bible class? Anthony Biddle (Fred MacMurray) does both, and the young Irish immigrant John Lawless (Tommy Steele) takes a job as his butler anyway, cheerful about all of it. Norman Tokar keeps the household loud and crowded, while Biddle's daughter Cordelia grows tired of her father's antics, since the nice young men in town are all afraid of him.
