The Harder They Fall

“A new day is dawning.”

Nat Love (Jonathan Majors) has been carrying one name for years, and it belongs to Rufus Buck (Idris Elba), a crime boss who has just been sprung from prison. Nat rides out with his gang to get him, and Jeymes Samuel fills the frontier with outlaws, lawmen and hired guns who were all real people. Almost everyone on screen is Black, in a genre that has rarely made room for them.
