The Haunted Mansion

“Check your pulse at the door... if you have one.”

A realtor takes a late call from a stranger who wants to sell his house, and the house holds more than furniture. Jim Evers (Eddie Murphy) drives out with his wife and business partner Sara (Marsha Thomason) to meet the brooding Edward Gracey (Nathaniel Parker), and a storm of no clear origin keeps them there overnight. Rob Minkoff puts the family in a house full of unseen residents, but the question that matters is whether Jim, always working, will notice his wife.
