The Hearse

“The Barrier Between Life and Death is no Greater than the Thickness of a Door...and now that Door is Open!”

A small town in northern California, one summer, and a house left empty by a dead woman. Jane Hardy (Trish Van Devere), a schoolteacher from San Francisco, moves in after inheriting it from her aunt, only to find the locals cold to her and a black hearse that keeps appearing on the road. George Bowers sets her against a town that wants her gone, and the question is whether she can hold on to the house, and herself, until the summer ends.
