“Behind the greatest hoax of our time is the heartbreaking story that started it all.”

Young Jeremiah (Jimmy Bennett) is settled with loving foster parents when his mother, Sarah (Asia Argento), comes back to claim him. All he wants is to be near her, and he follows her into a life of drugs, seedy hotels, strip joints and a string of lovers. Argento, who also directs, adapted JT LeRoy's novel and plays Sarah herself.
