The Heartbreak Kid

“A hip, hot and sexy lesson in love.”

Three days into his Miami honeymoon, Lenny Cantrow (Charles Grodin) has already decided his new wife Lila (Jeannie Berlin) is a mistake. Then he sees Kelly Corcoran (Cybill Shepherd), tall and blonde and sunning herself on the beach, and he decides that the woman he actually wants is someone else. Elaine May lets the scenes run flat and quiet while Lenny, with no plan beyond wanting, keeps talking his way toward Kelly.
