“Part man. Part street. 100% Kosher.”

A deranged Santa is hypnotizing Jewish children with bootlegged copies of "It's a Wonderful Life," and the only man on the case is Mordechai Jefferson Carver (Adam Goldberg), the Hebrew Hammer. He teams up with Mohammed Ali Paula Abdul Rahim (Mario Van Peebles) of the Kwanzaa Liberation Front to hunt the renegade down. Jonathan Kesselman writes and directs it as a blaxploitation pastiche, holiday-season stakes delivered in the flat voice of a hard-boiled detective.
