The Help

“Change begins with a whisper.”

Skeeter Phelan (Emma Stone) comes home to Jackson, Mississippi after college wanting to be a writer, only to find the maid who raised her has vanished without explanation. Her search leads her to Aibileen Clark (Viola Davis), who has lost her own son, and to Minny Jackson (Octavia Spencer). Tate Taylor sets their lives side by side in a town where the women who raise the children are kept at arm's length from the families they serve.
