The Heroic Ones

Nine of a Mogul king's thirteen loyal generals are chosen for a stealth mission against his greatest rivals, and the four left behind are not told why. Chang Cheh gathers the chosen in a family bound by oaths, with Li Tsun Hsiao (David Chiang Da-Wei) and Shih Ching Szu (Ti Lung) among them. Jealousy moves through that household of brothers, and the film is about how quickly loyalty to a king can turn into a quarrel inside the family.
