Dr. Gilbert McKenna (Robert Clarke) is an atomic research scientist who just wants his old life back after a dose of radiation goes wrong. Robert Clarke produced and directed the picture and also plays the lead, and Gilbert's trouble is that sunlight turns him into a murderous, lizard-like creature. Patricia Manning plays Ann Russell, who stands by him, while Gilbert stays indoors and waits for the dark.
