The Hired Hand

“Peter Fonda is riding again... To the woman he lost... for the revenge he craves!”

Harry Collings (Peter Fonda) has spent seven years drifting from job to job across the Southwest, and he wants to go home to the wife he left behind. Hannah (Verna Bloom) has long since given up on him, and she agrees to take him back only as a hired hand on his own farm, with his old friend Arch (Warren Oates) riding along. Fonda directs, and Harry works the land under her terms, hoping that patient labor can earn back the place he walked away from.
